February Floss-A-Thon Challenge
February was National Children's Dental Health month. At CareOregon, we put a spin on it this year and treated it as Dental/Oral Health Month for all! It was a special time for us here, as it was the month we ushered in CareOregon Dental’s first annual Floss-a-Thon Competition.
In true CareOregonian fashion, the masses embraced the opportunity to participate in competitive flossing – 51 Teams came together in this robustly healthy event challenge (that’s 255 CareOregonians – more than 26% of us all!).
Our goals were ample: To bring more visibility to the Dental team at CareOregon, to enhance CareOregon staff engagement, to encourage flossing, to acknowledge National Children’s Dental Health Month, and to raise awareness of the CareOregon Dental Plan. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
