Shannon Bremer, EFDA Operations Manager
CareOregon Dental is elated to welcome our new Dental Operations Manager, Shannon Bremer, EFDA!
In her role, Shannon manages health plan operations, which includes network and partner relationships; provider contracting; and clinical and operational improvements within the provider network.
Shannon’s career was historically on the clinical side of dental; she is a licensed Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who transitioned into management and eventually into an Indian Managed Care Program Director position at NARA. She has been a longtime partner of CareOregon Dental and was inspired by partner meetings wherein all the FQHC partners would gather, not in competition, but to share ideas and help one another.
She wants “to be involved with community members who need the most help with oral health education and services. Taking a job at CareOregon allows me to continue making a positive impact and stay in dental, which is where my heart is.”
A native Washingtonian, she cherishes the joys and challenges of raising her two teenage daughters in a bustling home, complete with a clowder of four cats, a dog and even a gecko! She frequently spends her downtime planting flowers and creating beauty in her backyard, dabbling in painting, and relaxing with adult coloring books.
