The CareOregon Dental Department is elated to welcome Jennifer Say, our new CCO Dental Portfolio Manager! In this role, Jennifer works alongside Cathleen Olesitse to oversee CCO Dental Plan contracts and performance management.

Jennifer’s career roots were planted at just sixteen-years-old, working for an endodontist while earning her associate’s degree. She then worked for Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and ultimately returned to academia and earned her degree in health services administration from Eastern Washington University. Following graduation, she immediately took an office manager position with Bright Now Dental, where she stayed for fifteen years. Originally at their Spokane office, she relocated and transitioned to manage two offices in Beaverton and Hillsboro.

Excited to take on this role, Jennifer was attracted by the content of her duties and by the mission of CareOregon. It means a lot to “use her existing skills in a different role” and to help “take care of members and ensure they get the help they need.”

After growing up in Salem, Jennifer lived in Spokane for 24 years. She returned to Oregon two years ago “just after Covid started.” In July, she became engaged to her fiancé, Chad, whom she has known since childhood – they were neighbors and went to the same school! She also has a boxer named Scooby Doo and three adult sons. She enjoys cooking, hiking, working out, and spending time with friends.
